22-3 Education Counseling

(1) Advice on education (truant, misbehavior, abuse, childcare, education, etc.)

Counseling and advice on children’s education are offered to the children and their guardians living in the two cities and one town. Each city or town provides several kinds of counseling in different way. You are advised to ask city or town office where you live.

Fujimi-shi provides the following (A)〜(G) counseling and advice.

Counseling and advice on children’s education such as playing truant, misbehavior, abuse, and other problems are offered

(B) Speech counseling and training

Counseling and training for speech delay, pronunciation or hearing impediment are available by a medical specialist or speech language hearing therapist.

Counseling on psychologically-based distress is available by certified clinical psychologist

(D) Counseling on school enrollment

Counseling on school enrollment of children with fear of development delay is available.

(E) Counseling on special needs education

Special needs tutors provide counseling services for children with development disorders.

(F) Educational Support Center “Asunaro”

This is a classroom to support the independence of students who have been absent for a long period of time.
